Throughout my years in Berks, I have been active in community work. In Berks County and Pennsylvania, I have served on the boards of BCTV, the League of Women Voters, the Greater Berks Development Fund, the Greater Reading Development partnership, Kutztown University President's Advisory Board, Junior Achievement, the Pennsylvania Economy League Central Division Board of Governors, the RACC Foundation, the Reading Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, the Star Series, the United Way and Women's Counseling Services. On several of these boards, I also served as Treasurer.

In addition, I served on the board of the Institute of Management Accountants, Reading Chapter and as Vice Chair and Executive Committee member of the Pennsylvania Electric Association.

During my years working in Morristown, New Jersey, I served on the boards of Centenary College President's Circle, the Fairleigh Dickinson University Master of Arts Program in Corporate & Organizational Communications, the Advisory Board for Rutgers University Business School, the Morristown Community Theatre and NJN Public Television. In Ohio, I served on the Board of the United Way of Summit County and on the Summit County's Blue Ribbon Panel advisory group for Children's Services.
